I'm very pleased to have been chosen to participate in the Knight-Mozilla Learning Lab, which is part of the Knight-Mozilla news journalism partnership. It starts on Monday 11th July.
I pitched 3 ideas to the lab, accompanied by glorious back-of-the-napkin sketches:
1. In the Beyond Comment Threads stream, I pitched Newsbubble
2. In the Unlocking Video stream, I pitched the Video Equaliser
3. In the People-powered news thread, I pitched Newspool, a way to link together all the official news items that relate to the same news story. (This still needs a nice sketch :)).
Not sure yet which I'll develop over the 4 weeks, but more info will appear in this section. I think my favourite is (3) :).
